Accepted Contributions to the conference:
Now that the submitted abstracts have been peer reviewed and accepted, please complete all of the following no later than September 13th, 2024:
- Author Earlybird Registration: Please complete your earlybird registration and payment; we have extended the earlybird registration to September 13, 2024 as well.
- We strongly recommend you also book your hotel room now as well, as our special rate and room blocks will expire at the beginning of September.
- If you are submitting more than two contributions, you will need to complete an additional registration and fee; “General” allows up to 2 manuscripts and “Student” allows only 1 manuscript. Please make sure you include a comment “Additional registration to cover 3rd/4th/etc. papers” both in the registration and payment comment fields to indicate that it is not a duplicate.
- No later than September 13: Log into your EasyChair account (https://easychair.org/) and in your existing EasyChair abstract submission, click the <Add file> link in the right sidebar, and please upload all of the following in one zipped folder:
- Revise your abstract per provided reviewer feedback, and provide a Word/Latex file as well as a PDF file of your camera-ready abstract
- Please continue to use the 2-page abstract template and ensure you follow the indicated formatting instructions (references are not inclusive in the page limit). Download the abstract templates here
- For authors working with Word: Use the Math function of Word 2003 or 2007, MathType, or Microsoft Equation Editor to create your equations. Avoid inserting equations as graphic files.
- Please place an envelope icon (or any other pointer) next to the name of the corresponding author, whose email address is mandatory.
- If you have more than one paper, please check that your name has been written consistently across all papers.
- If you are providing a Word file, please also include the jpeg/tiff files of the figures

- Complete and sign the Springer “License to Publish Proceedings Papers” (LTP) form

- This must be hand-signed. Digital signatures are not acceptable.
- Please be sure that all information (authors’ names and paper title) are exactly the same as in the paper

- If applicable, make sure you obtain permissions of 3rd party materials and/or obtain permission of reusing figure(s) from previous publications.
- Springer is a STM signatory publisher. STM guidelines are here: https://www.stm-assoc.org/membership-2/our-members/
- If authors wish to reuse materials published by another signatory publisher, they can check the corresponding guideline for permission at https://www.stm-assoc.org/intellectual-property/permissions/permissions-guidelines/
- Usually authors can get permission online by using RightsLink: http://www.copyright.com/publishers/rightslink-scientific/ . In rare cases, authors need to contact the publisher directly.
- Please note that the ICNR2024 Proceedings is NOT an open access book.
- The Springer self-archiving policy for non-open access book and chapters can be found here: https://www.springernature.com/gp/open-research/policies/book-policies
- Archiving of pre-print on a recognized server, up to one chapter per volume from the same author, is allowed for proceedings.
- For research involving human participation, for example, it is recommend to add a sentence in the paper explaining that ethical approval was obtained and specify by which committee.
- Example: ‘All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee “Name of committee + reference number”….’

- In summary, the one zipped folder uploaded to EasyChair.org should include:
- PDF file (optional but highly preferred)
- Source file: Word or Latex
- Figure files (jpeg/tiff preferred)
- Signed Springer License to Publish (LTP) form
- Revise your abstract per provided reviewer feedback, and provide a Word/Latex file as well as a PDF file of your camera-ready abstract
Please note that failure to meet these requirements may result in your paper being excluded from the final conference program and proceedings.
